Williams Family

So, a few weeks ago I took pictures of an awesome family that I hold so dear to my heart. We had so much fun hanging out, sweating, and getting eaten by bugs, but you could never tell by their pictures. Here are a few of my favorites.

Weekend Fun & Not So Fun!

Fun:
This weekend our friend, Steph Schultz, from St. Louis came to visit us. We had such a good time. Between a Stampin' Up party, Family Swim Night at the local pool, a BBQ & a day trip to Chicago, we kept Steph running wild. This weekend was fire, for sure.

Everyone waiting for me to set my camera for the group picture. I liked this one better than the posed one.

Enjoying the view of Lake Michigan.

Not so fun:
Porter fell back in a lounge chair at the BBQ & split his gums and fattened his lip. Blood was gushing everywhere & I thought for sure he lost a tooth. I have a feeling this will be one of many...being he was climbing on the chair 10 minutes later.

Boating with Friends

Some friends of ours invited us out on their boat. Charis & Porter took some getting used to the idea, but after awhile the crying stopped and we all had a good time.
Matt was the pro of the group. He was up with the first try.

Charis kept saying, "I want to go home now", but I think over all she had a good time.

Ok, I always thought I was an adventurous person. Well, not when it comes to tubing. I was done in approx. 4 minutes & Matt said we never got over 11 mph. That's all I needed to satisfy my thirst for thrill.

Porter found his spot & never left it. Why? He was quite the stuff honking the horn.

Charis got brave & sat on the back of the boat. She refused to get in the water though.

Porter still in his captain seat.

Reuse & Recycle

Parenting tip: A friend of mine, Christy, introduced me to this amazing parenting tid bit. Reuse old plastic grocery bags for a quick disposable bib. Just pull & toss. How much easier could life get?

Allow the Little Children...

So, today I'm standing in the 4th floor doctor's waiting room keeping crowd control until my name is called (a whole other story why I have no babysitter), when Charis asks to see out the window. Well, I already had Porter in my arms so he could see, but instead of creating a scene I quickly picked Charis up with my free arm (a sight I'm sure) annoyed that I'm having to let Charis see too. We're looking at the cars & people below when I hear something that caused me to stop in my tracks.

In a tiny voice I hear Charis say,
"Thank you Jesus for God
and thank you Jesus for all the peoples in the cars.
In Jesus' name, amen".

This made every frustrating moment worth it all.

Pfrang Family (the P is silent)

I had the privilege of taking family pictures of an awesome family here at my church in Rantoul. Love you, guys!

This is not part of the Pfrang family...

Quick Trip to St. Louis

This past weekend we made a quick trip to St. Louis for Matt's cousin's wedding. I took Tarah & Devon's engagement pictures, but they had an awesome photographer for their wedding already, so we just had a good time hanging out & dancing 'til midnight.
Here's my sister-in-law, Angie, & I waiting for the rain to stop so the wedding could start.

Only three months to go!!

That's my baby daddy & me!

Now we're waiting for the food & dancing to begin.

Fun With Fire!

David & Melissa, our friends from St. Louis, came to visit for the 4th of July weekend. We had such a fun time just hanging out & catching up. We really needed some old friends to just veg with. Charis got to stay up for fireworks, but Porter couldn't make it.
Charis thought she needed to take a "picture" of every firework that went off. She never discovered that her camera was fake.

After while I started experimenting with my camera.
